CHICAGO, ILLINOIS — The Chicago Rehab Network is a 35-year old association of Chicago-area non-profit housing developers and managers. As a key participant in the Foundation's local affordable housing initiative--The Preservation Compact--the Rehab Network has demonstrated that, under certain conditions, informed, proactive tenants associations can be vital to preserving affordable rental units. This grant will strengthen the Rehab Network's capacity to provide technical assistance to tenants, their organizations, and other stakeholders about how residents can help preserve their federally-assisted housing.
