WASHINGTON, D.C. — Global Rights is an international human rights capacity building organization that works with local activists and communities in Africa, Asia, and Latin America to promote access to justice and protect the rights of marginalized populations. The grant funds will be used to conduct an evaluation of the existing community paralegal scheme in Nigeria's Kano and Bauchi states; facilitate a workshop on access to justice and paralegal service delivery in collaboration with the National Human Rights Commission and Legal Aid Council; and develop, publish, and disseminate promotional materials on the availability of paralegal and referral services in both states.
