WASHINGTON, D.C. — This grant supports an expert consultative process and a convening aimed at gathering and showcasing state-of-the-art evidence on the relationship between migration and development. The project includes the production and broad dissemination of a set of policy briefs on ten to fifteen migration policy topics that summarize the state of thinking in the field. The project's anticipated impact include clarification of the state of knowledge in the field and providing New York-based UN delegations with broader common understanding of key issues in advance of the Second High-Level Dialogue on Migration and Development, to be held at the UN General Assembly in September 2013.
