WASHINGTON, D.C. — The STRENGTH MATTERS® collaborative brings together three national networks of nonprofit affordable housing organizations - Housing Partnership Network, NeighborWorks America and Stewards of Affordable Housing for the Future. The collaborative's goal is to build the strength, productivity and profitability of its member organizations and to communicate the best practices of those members to the private, public, and philanthropic sectors - thereby attracting additional capital. Strength Matters will use this grant to fund the activities of various Working Groups and two annual member meetings, and to publish two papers documenting innovative practices related to affordable rental housing financing and preservation.
