NEW YORK, NEW YORK — Staff from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Uganda and Nigeria, representatives from the Government of Uganda, and key education non-governmental organization (NGOs) will participate in a one-week study tour in Nigeria to visit sexuality education programs. The purpose of the trip will be to provide Ugandan officials with a better understanding of how sexuality education can be institutionalized and scaled-up as well as to share lessons learned between the Ugandan and Nigerian experts. Findings from the trip will be shared with key Ugandan stakeholders.
