  WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Bipartisan Policy Center is a Washington, D.C.-based organization that promotes bipartisanship as a way to develop pragmatic solutions to significant policy challenges. In June 2011, the Foundation funded the Center to create a bipartisan commission to consider and propose a new generation of housing policies. In addition to focusing on the future of the housing finance system, the Commission is exploring the appropriate role for government, considering fiscal constraints, and determining how to target public support for those most in need. This grant funds a robust communications effort to publicize the Commission's recommendations and outreach to media, policymakers and industry stakeholders.
