GENEVA, SWITZERLAND — The Partnership for Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (PMNCH), a global health partnership with more than 450 members housed at the World Health Organization, will advocate for the implementation and scale-up of an essential package of maternal and reproductive health interventions. PMNCH will also add young people's reproductive health issues to those addressed by the partnership.

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND — The purpose of the grant is to support the salary of a Medical Officer (MO) at the World Health Organization (WHO). The role of the MO is to serve as a technical expert within the WHO and for outside organizations on issues related to maternal and reproductive health in emergency settings.
The MacArthur Foundation awarded World Health Organization $1,050,000 between 2010 and 2013.
